Calvin Doyle is an Irish Creative Director and filmmaker with more than a decade of experience across brand, design, photography and film. He co-founded Studio Great in 2018, where he has led strategy, creative direction and multidisciplinary projects for businesses ranging from independent companies to national and international brands.

His background is unusually hands-on. He has worked as a designer, developed and directed photography, written and directed commercial films, built brands from strategy through identity, and produced independent film projects from the ground up. That experience shapes how he works as a Creative Director: with an understanding of what each part of the process requires, how to work with different creative disciplines, and how to carry a strong idea through to finished work.

Alongside his commercial practice, Calvin writes, directs and produces independent films. His work is rooted in a DIY approach to filmmaking, often working with small crews and limited resources to create ambitious, distinctive projects.

He continues to work independently across creative direction, brand, film and selected collaborative projects, while also serving as Creative Director at Studio Great.
